🏆 The Heart of the Southside: Blake Rogers, Our Fall MVP

Nov 10, 2025

Fall Ball MVP, #8 Blake Rogers

As the final dust settles on our fall season, the Atlanta Southsiders are walking away with more than just memories...we’re walking away with legacy. And at the center of that legacy stands #8: Blake Rogers.

Blake didn’t just play baseball this season. He embodied it.

From the very first tournament to the last pitch thrown, Blake showed up with consistency, grit, and heart. Whether he was stretching for a tough play at first base or sprinting after a ball with no hesitation, his hustle never wavered. He mastered first base like a veteran, anchoring our defense with calm confidence and sharp instincts.

But Blake’s impact didn’t stop there. This fall, he stepped onto the mound as a new pitcher...raw, determined, and fearless. Every time he took the ball, he gave us everything he had. No excuses. No shortcuts. Just effort, growth, and pride. And when the pressure mounted, Blake didn’t fold...he leaned in.

Offensively, he was our rock. The most consistent hitter on the team, Blake made it his mission to get on base and spark momentum. His approach at the plate was simple: give his best, every single time. And he did. Again and again.

But what truly sets Blake apart isn’t just his stats...it’s his spirit. His attitude never dipped. His energy lifted others. His leadership was quiet but magnetic. He reminded us that greatness isn’t loud...it’s consistent.

And behind every great player, there’s often a great parent. For Blake, that’s his father, Isaac Rogers.

Isaac wasn’t just front row at every game. He was front and center in spirit, energy, and love. His presence was felt by the entire team...from the loud cheers to the passionate calls behind the plate (yes, even the ones that stirred up a little umpire and team controversy). But at the heart of it all was pure love for the game and unwavering pride in his son.

Isaac brought joy, character, and generosity to our season. Whether it was a word of encouragement, a helping hand, or simply showing up with unmatched energy, he gave us more than time...he gave us heart. And while not everyone may understand his fire, we do. We see it. We appreciate it. And we honor it.

So this season, we celebrate not just our MVP player, but our MVP parent.

To Blake - thank you for setting the tone. To Isaac - thank you for amplifying it. And to the Southsiders, this season was just the beginning. Legacy is being built, one tournament at a time.

We’ll see you on the field.
